Sizing Advice:

Ready to check out our newest boot? After much refinement, we find that the Boulder Summit may just have the best fit yet! So how does it compare to your other beloved Lems? If you have the Primal 2 and find that they fit just right, then we suggest you stick with that same size. If you find that the Primal 2 is a little too roomy for your comfort, order a half size down. If you are a Boulder Boot fan, we find that the Boulder Summit fits a little longer than the Casual Soles styles. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our customer service at info@footworksrunning.co.uk.

*Original NATURAL SHAPE: Wide toe splay with a fully wide fit.

Great boots!

I'm really pleased with these shoes - they're so comfortable and warm (without being sweaty). I love that they have the wideness of barefoot shoes while still having a cushiony sole. The leather looks great.

Nice boots

Really nice boots. Great wide (foot) shape. Good quality. Zero drop. Sole is not super thin/ flexible as with other barefoot shoes. Decent lugs/grips so good for eg mud (other barefoot shoes are terrible in mud). Ankle collar slightly stiff/tight initially but soon loosens up

Great service and advice, and top quality boots

Having struggled with diabetic foot neuropathy causing poor balance and difficulty knowing if shoes fit or not, I discovered barefoot shoes last year and with encouragement from a reflexologist, acupuncturist and yoga teacher, I gave them a try, with some unbranded shoes cheap in a sale. They are fine, but I wanted something with more support in the sole, and found Lems.
Footworks seems to be the only place selling them in the UK so I asked for advice from Colin, the owner, on sizing and which boot would probably have the biggest toe box. That was the Boulder Summit Waterproof, and I went for leather for breathability and look.
The first pair were slightly too tight across the instep, so I ordered a size up and they fitted better. Plenty wide enough, seem high enough to cope with claw foot and comfy enough to get on.
Warm and very comfortable to walk in all day in town on tarmac and pavement.
The advice I received from Colin was very helpful, the return of the first too small pair was very prompt and the boots look like they'll be really comfortable and used a lot.
I will definitely return for more Lems shoes if I decide to buy more.

Had them 6 months

"I use these boots daily and cover about 10 miles most days. They’re fantastic overall, though the grip has started to wear down. If they can last through this winter, I’d be happy. The only downside is that my feet get sweaty since they’re waterproof, so next time I’d opt for a non-waterproof version. I’ll also go through Colin’s business, as he was very helpful. I’d love the same style but without the waterproof feature."
