I have club feet as the result of childhood polio and have therefore to be meticulously careful about what shoes I wear. I had previously purchased a pair of Lems Boulder Boots from this company some years ago and found them to be supremely comfortable. For this reason I bought this second pair with complete confidence. Regrettably, while the boots look the same the material from which the new pair are constructed is very noticeably harsher and stiffer than the previous pair and so are not nearly as comfortable and will quickly make my feet painfully sore. I would stress that this in no way reflects upon Footworks who delivered what I ordered with their usual efficiency. It is also worth stressing that Lems make no claim to make products for feet like mine. A shame given my original experience. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Bought these boots after many years of trying to find something(anything) that fitted my feet properly. I have worn these boots for everyday wear for over 5 months now and am absolutely delighted with them: so much so that I have given all my other footwear apart from sandals and trainers to the charity shops. It is wonderful to have footwear that doesn’t squeeze your toes together and actually mirror the shape of your feet. Wore them straight from the box. Recommend that you follow the sizing instructions and send a scan of the foot outline to Footworks for complete confidence on sizing. Mine fit like a glove! Just bought a leather pair for a different look. Drifters next ready for next summer!
